Exterior Guard

Our Exterior Guard Program focuses on the areas immediately outside the structure, including the base of the foundation, windows, doors, thresholds, soffits and eaves, plumbing and electrical ingress points, vents, downspouts and the garage. By decreasing the bug population around the house, we minimize the number of pests that can invade your home. Sergio’s Pest Pros applies a band application of liquid, dust and baits to deter pests from penetrating the interior zone. We alert the home owner to cracks and crevices that need to be sealed to keep out the pests. We also inspect the property and seek out potential harborage areas. Mulch, wood, brick piles, trees and bushes should be moved as far from the structure as possible. Areas with high moisture conditions should be altered to prevent certain infestations.

Interior Guard

Insects are determined to find a way to penetrate your home. Sergio’s pest management efforts outside of the structure reduce the amount of materials needed in the living areas of your home. Small amounts of odorless materials are placed in cracks and crevices where bugs tend to hide. We understand your needs. You don’t want insects in your home, and you want to minimize the use of chemicals in your environment. Sergio’s Two Step Protection Plan is the solution! We place the appropriate materials in the right place, thus achieving the desired result. Sergio’s virtually eliminates destructive, disease-carrying pests from your home. After your servicing, the technician provides you with a written report of his findings and what actions were taken to protect your home. If additional treatment is necessary during your service period, we will promptly render our service at no additional charge to you for covered pests.

HOME PROTECTION PLAN (QUARTERLY SERVICE)

This program provides the most COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE available. The plan includes treatment for ants, roaches, food infesting insects, silverfish, spiders, earwigs, centipedes, crickets, clover mites and ground beetles. This plan does not cover termites, fleas, rodents, flying insects, birds, or any other pest not mentioned. This program provides timely preventative indoor and outdoor applications as well as FREE EMERGENCY SERVICE, for covered pests, when required. We are constantly under siege from pests that want to ruin our homes, health, and happiness. These pests come in many different varieties and they come at different times of the year. That's why Sergio’s Pest Pros provides four treatments per year -- one treatment for each season. By providing regular visits, we are able to stop most pests before they invade your home. RESULTS GUARANTEED!

For your convenience, if you are not home during SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS, treatment and inspections will be made to the exterior, the major entry point for insects and rodents, and will be considered a completed quarterly service. *There is an INITIAL SERVICE charge for the first treatment. The Quarterly Service Plan commences after the initial clean out has been performed.

Why does Sergio’s Pest Pros have to come four times a year?

There are two very important reasons. First, many pests are seasonal in their occurrence; for example, rats and mice are very common in the fall and winter but not as prevalent in the spring and summer. Wasps and bees are noticed more in the summer and fall after their colonies have become very large, but they can be better controlled with early treatments in the spring. Other pests such as ants, roaches, and beetles also have seasonal peaks in their activity. Our challenge is to eliminate them before they become a problem to you.

Second, the pesticides and applications that we use today are much safer for you and for the environment than the pesticides used just ten years ago. With this added safety, the pesticides break down much faster. Thus, more frequent applications may be necessary.


What is included in the Sergio’s Pest Pros Quarterly Service Program?

Sergio’s will schedule four visits to your home throughout the year, and will inspect and/or perform treatment as needed to the areas described below:

• The interior service of your home will consist of inspection and monitoring of all accessible areas and treatment as necessary.
• Exterior perimeter treatment reduces the chance of pest invasion from neighboring properties.
• Garages will receive the same thorough perimeter treatment that your home gets.
• Door and window frames are common entry points for occasional invaders.
• Eaves and overhangs often harbor spiders and harmful flying insects, including wasps and hornets.
• Cracks in foundation walls and chimneys provide easy entry points for pests like ants and rodents.
• Landscape plantings often serve as perfect harborage areas for home invading pests.
• Wood piles harbor harmful pests such as carpenter ants and spiders. Wood piles should be kept away from the home.
• Trash collection areas provide fertile feeding grounds for numerous pests, including ants, flies and rodents.
• Ants, earwigs, and pill bugs are among the insect pests that commonly live in bark mulch and gravel beds.
